Henriette has been at the helm of Local Toddler since The opening of the school in 2018,  steering the institution towards academic excellence and holistic development.

Her role of the principal exchange for beyond administrative duties.  Henriette embodies this with a hands-on approach And commitment to every facet of the school life.  She oversees the implementation of the curriculum and ensures it meets educational standards.

She fosters a safe and inclusive environment for all students and the staff, engaging with parents and the wider community to build a strong and supportive relationship.

Most importantly, she monitors and supports teachers to enhance their professional development. Her love for children makes every day a new experience,  and she is grateful to be part of our future leaders.

Leeoni Motau

Vice principal and teacher of the Jungle class (age 4-5)

Leeoni Motau Is the Vice Principal and Manager of Local Toddler Pre-Primary School. A dynamic and forward-thinking Learning Centre that focuses on developing a holistic learner. It is a nurturing environment that allows children to learn grow and reach their full potential. At the same time, providing them with a safe and caring environment to explore daily. With over 10 years of experience working with children, Leeoni is an experienced and integral part of the Local Toddler Pre-Primary School by overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school and ensuring the well-being of all staff members and learners. She is currently a prospective master’s student and will be completing her PGCE qualification in special needs education in 2024.

Twane Grobler

Co-founder, marketing director and facilitator

As the Co-Founder, Marketing Director, and Facilitator at Local Toddler Pre-Primary School, Twane plays a pivotal role in shaping the vision and growth of our educational community. With a keen eye for innovative marketing strategies, she drives enrollment and builds lasting relationships with families. Her hands-on approach as a facilitator ensures that the learning environment is dynamic, inclusive, and tailored to the needs of each toddler. Passionate about early childhood education, Twane is dedicated to creating a nurturing and stimulating space where our toddlers can thrive.

Christelle Bester

Teacher of the rainbow class (age 18 months to 2 years)

All kids need is a little help, a little hope, and somebody who believes in them”. Teacher Christelle is a friendly, outgoing, and patient person who loves children. “Children are my passion and my goal is to help create strong and independent children that can care for themselves in the world.” Children are our future we must cherish them.

Ofentse Ruth Sekosana

Teacher of the Bugs class (age 3-4)

Seeing children grow sometimes right through from being babies then toddlers and eventually kindred children ready to go to school is incredible.  Working with children has brought more joy to my life than I can explain.  I love that I’m able to nurture children and offer so many great learning experiences to them.

Receptionist and marketing assistant

Teacher Teresa is a friendly, loud, and outgoing person. She is a big kid and has the energy to keep up with our little ones.  She believes that if you open your heart and become like a child, you will always be blissful, always content. Teacher Teresa loves working with all our little local toddlers as she believes that sometimes the smallest things take up the biggest room in our hearts.

Savannah is a fun and loving patient person, she is qualified teacher. Her passion and love for children has contributed to her being the wonderful teacher that she is. Her ability and experience has grown extensively through working with learners of all age groups and has enabled her to continue her love to teach and guide tomorrows leaders. She believes sharing love and positive energy through teaching is a phenomenal skill.

Experienced as a preschool teacher: Being a preschool teacher has been amazing. It has brought joy and fulfillment in my life by simply brightening up a child’s day and knowing that l am impacting their life academically, socially, and spiritually. Working at Local Toddler has been a great privilege. I have attended workshops that have sharpened my teaching skills and empowered me as an individual. Rachel has been with Local toddler since we opened the school. She is very passionate about her work and cares for our toddlers. She has a lot of patience with our toddlers always comes to work with a smile and always has some good humor to offer.

With a deep understanding of children’s dietary needs and preferences,  Jane crafts delicious and balanced menus that promote healthy eating habits. Committed to using fresh, high-quality ingredients, Jane ensures every meal is both tasty and wholesome, fostering a positive dining experience for our little toddlers.

Gardener / Handyman

I am a hard working, self employed handyman, gardener, painter, roof doctor, name it, I can do it. I am more than willing to do anything, therefore I have found my niche at Local Toddler, where I can live My life, get the opportunity to live my life, use my own initiative. I am not only Local Toddler’s handyman, I am the overall handyman.
